Fatal Flowers: Johnny D is Back!

Fatal Flowers: Johnny D is Back!

Ginza

Fatal Flowers"' album Johnny D. Is Back! was produced by ex-Bowie guitarist Mick Ronson and recorded in Woodstock (USA). The band"'s sounds is even more complete compared to their previous albums. John Sebastian (Lovin"' Spoonful) plays an excellent harmonica solo on the song ""Second Chance"", and the title track. At some moments it feels like listening to the FIying Burrito Brothers and Buffalo Springfield, while the comparisons to the sound of the Rolling Stones are still intact. Johnny D. Is Back! is still an undiscovered masterpiece from the lowlands. The Amsterdam blues rock band Fatal Flowers delivered some of their best albums during the 1980s. They can be seen as one of the best Dutch export products from the decade. Unique by the kind of blues and rock riffs which set them apart from the punk and new wave bands of that time.
